Will the pre-season results affect our chances of winning the prem?

Will the pre-season results affect our chances of winning the prem? Lets hope not...It hasn't been a great pre-season. With 2 wins and 3 defeats and 2 draws, things aren't looking so good. After last nights defeat against Atletico which ended up 2-1 to the spaniards, im worried about our buys this season. They scored 2 in the first half at Anfield which was pretty shocking to see and then Lucas headered in a goal in the 81st minute but it was too late to find the equalizer. Rafa says Lucas is on target and hailed the Brazillians performance last night in the game.
"I said in my pre-match notes that Lucas has been best player in pre-season," he told Liverpoolfc.tv  . "He showed why again today. He is really focused, working hard and is showing quality.

Lucas has improved during the summer and hopefully he can prove himself to the Anfield faithful. He believes he can help the squad by being the new playmaker alongside Aquilani.
"I am always ready and now Xabi is gone I hope there will be more opportunities for me," Lucas told The Daily Post.

The reds now have from today till the 16th to get ready for the new campaign and need make sure we get the 3 points secured for the start of the season.

What i expect this season.

09/10 Season
Well i expect change obviously. Improvement of course and even more determination to grab our hands on the premiership. After the likes of Glen Johnson arriving with Alberto Aquilani, im looking at high expectations for next season but the main things i'll be expecting are:
  • Less Home Draws
  • Focus on the prem and nothing else
  • No rants. No mind games. Leave the battle on the pitch Rafa
  • Keep up the away form
  • Avoid Injurys especially for Torres and Aquilani. Torres hamstring issue needs to be dealt with and i hear Aquilani is an injury probe but lets home the english game won't bring a storm down.
  • Less stress off the field. With Stevie G's charges and Rafa's battle with Fergueson led to the downfall of our prem title hopes last season.
Hopefully all these things will come through during the season and when May comes, we can lift that trophy up and when i watch Steven Gerrard with the prem trophy in his hands, i can't describe the euphoria i'll be in...

Stevie is off the hook. Congrats lad...

When i was in 'That London' for my holidays in christmas, i couldn't stop think about Merseyside. The city, the people, the football.. Haha. I was on the telly looking through some channels then BBC displays a picture of Stevie G being arrested and i was in shock.
"Stevie what did you do?!!!?!?!". I said to myself filled with misery. Our captain is being charged for assulting a DJ. Wow, ive seen a new side of the man.

Well he was celebrating out 5-1 win over Newcastle and he went to southports bar and had a drink or two and was enjoying the party with his friends. Then, he walks up to the DJ and he says he was given permision to select the song and the man said no. So the arguement goes down and well the fight breaks loose.

After all the court cases and all that s*** was done, he was pleeded not guilty by the jury and walked out a free man. I was glad he was out of the situation. I knew he would'nt be in jail.. Haha, good on ya Stevie. Now, lets go win the prem!! Your dream is too lift that trophy. My dream is for you to lift that trophy.. THIS SEASON!!!!!!!!
